Market News & Headlines >> Grain Stocks: About What Was Expected

As expected, there was more corn in bins this March 1 than last year – 30% more at 7.01 billion bushels. That is right on the trade’s average estimate.

Soybeans stored in all positions are down 1% from a year ago, at 992 million, even tighter than the 989 the trade expected.

Wheat in storage totaled 1.056 billion bushels, just a touch higher than the 1.042 the average trade estimated and up slightly from last March.
