Tim Brusnahan, Vice President of Consulting
Tim has been a consultant for Brock Associates for more than 20 years and is the company’s vice president of consulting. Tim works with Fortune 500 Companies, agribusiness firms and more than 75 farm producers in 20-plus states, with farm size ranging from 500 acres to 30,000 acres. He also advises dairy producers that milk 25,000-plus cows.
Prior to his employment with Brock Associates, Tim was registered as an Associated Person with Gerstenberg & Co., a commodity retail brokerage firm in Chicago. He is a 1981 graduate of Purdue University with a B.S. degree in agricultural economics.

Kurt Barth, Senior Marketing Consultant
Kurt, Chief Financial Officer, uses his 25-plus years of experience in the financial markets and business acumen to design individualized plans for clients that integrate market outlook, cash flow needs, on-farm storage analysis, debt loads and other factors. He is a botanist by education, earning his B.S. from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1979. When he’s not crunching numbers and talking with clients, Kurt likes to be out-of-doors chopping wood, hiking, kayaking or skiing.

Jason Moss, Senior Marketing Consultant
Jason has been a Brock Associates Marketing Consultant since 2005 and currently operates a branch office in Quincy, Ill. As a Senior Marketing Consultant, Jason works with a variety of producers across the country in developing and implementing marketing plans to best manage their price risk—from the undersold to oversold, small to large, and knowledgeable experts to inexperienced beginners.
The greatest concentration of clients he works with is in the South, as he has led the company’s expansion into cotton and rice consulting from corn, soybeans and wheat. Jason’s competitive advantage is his ability to discuss real farm management decisions with real perspective—a refreshing and helpful edge that comes from direct interest and involvement in his family’s corn, hog, and farm management enterprises.
As Chief Operating Officer and member of the Senior Management Team at Brock Associates, Jason is in charge of developing new products, improving customer development and streamlining customer relationship management. Jason’s pursuit of agricultural and business education includes a B.S. degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Illinois, a M.S. degree in Agricultural Economics from Purdue University and a M.B.A. from Indiana University. He resides in Quincy, Ill., with his wife and four children.

Warren Enevoldsen, Marketing Consultant
Warren has been a part of the Brock consulting team since 2000 and operates out of an office in southern Minnesota where he is an active grain grower. In addition to farming, Warren has worked as a lobbyist at the Minnesota State Capital, bought and traded grain at the Minneapolis Grain Exchange, taught agricultural marketing classes at the University of Minnesota and was an agricultural loan officer. Warren is a graduate of the University of Minnesota.

Katie Hancock, Marketing Consultant
Katie joined Brock Associates as an agricultural commodity marketing consultant in 2013 and operates a branch office in Water Valley, Ky. As a Marketing Consultant and a grower herself, Katie will help growers—men and women—remove the intimidation and emotions often associated with commodity marketing. One of her goals is to help fellow growers understand marketing tools available to them and have them comfortable using those tools.
Katie is a 2008 graduate of Murray State University, where she earned a degree in agricultural business. After graduating from college, Katie returned to farm full-time and learn at the side of her father Joe Sanger on a 6,400-acre grain farm near Hickman, Ky. In addition to being a Brock Associates Marketing Consultant, Katie owns two small grain farms near Water Valley, Ky., and provides managerial accounting and marketing input to her husband Jordan Hancock and his cousin who farm 5,000 acres.

Mark Heckman, Marketing Consultant
Mark Heckman, West Liberty, Iowa. Heckman joins Brock after serving as director of Commodities Procurement at Kent Corporation in Muscatine. There he was responsible for procuring corn and natural gas for two corn wet-milling facilities, as well as a grain elevator and 13 commercial feed mills. Prior to that he was a grain merchandiser and risk manager at companies ranging from small elevators to large multi-national corporations.
Heckman also grows corn and soybeans on a 1,300-acre operation, and raises livestock. He is a director of the Iowa Corn Promotion Board, and has a bachelor's degree in Agricultural Business from Iowa State. As a marketing consultant, Mark focuses on margin-management and strategies that position the farmer for success in all kinds of market conditions.

Charlie Stutesman, Marketing Consultant
Charlie Stutesman, Sturgis, Mich. Charlie will be operating out of our southwest Michigan office and has over 25 years of experience working with farmers, elevators, merchandising and management. Stutesman started and owns a seed and chemical business, NatureTEC Ag. He previously worked as national sales manager for Partners Brand Seed, a small family-owned seed business serving 18 states. Stutesman also has experience working as a grain merchandiser and farmer marketing advisor for an elevator.
Stutesman grew up on and still farms a northwest Ohio farm that has been in the family since 1835. He has a bachelor's degree in Economics and an M.B.A. in Organizational Development from Bowling Green State University. As a marketing consultant, Stutesman places a priority on keeping an open dialogue with clients, and also helps growers with their budgeting process.
