Jason Moss, Senior Marketing Consultant

Jason has been a Brock Associates Marketing Consultant since 2005 and currently operates a branch office in Quincy, Ill. As a Senior Marketing Consultant, Jason works with a variety of producers across the country in developing and implementing marketing plans to best manage their price risk—from the undersold to oversold, small to large, and knowledgeable experts to inexperienced beginners.

The greatest concentration of clients he works with is in the South, as he has led the company’s expansion into cotton and rice consulting from corn, soybeans and wheat. Jason’s competitive advantage is his ability to discuss real farm management decisions with real perspective—a refreshing and helpful edge that comes from direct interest and involvement in his family’s corn, hog, and farm management enterprises.

As Chief Operating Officer and member of the Senior Management Team at Brock Associates, Jason is in charge of developing new products, improving customer development and streamlining customer relationship management. Jason’s pursuit of agricultural and business education includes a B.S. degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Illinois, a M.S. degree in Agricultural Economics from Purdue University and a M.B.A. from Indiana University. He resides in Quincy, Ill., with his wife and four children.

Cody Brunes, Marketing Consultant / Broker

Cody joined Brock Associates in January 2021 as a marketing consultant and broker. A graduate of Purdue University with a degree in Ag Economics and a concentration in Commodity Marketing, he currently operates out of our branch office in Tipton, Ind. with Kevin Woods. As a consultant, Cody assists a wide range of producers across the country, recommending and implementing strategic marketing plans to help manage risk on each operation.

Cody remains involved in his family’s row crop operation in West-Central Indiana. Cody leverages his knowledge of cash grain markets, specialty crop markets, and other grain marketing products to help his clients prioritize and execute sound risk management decisions tailored to each of their own farming operations. He is very passionate about finding ways to help producers capitalize on marketing opportunities by looking at other factors such as cash flow needs, debt loads and storage availabilities.

When not helping clients with their marketing, Cody enjoys being outside, spending time with family and friends, football, and increasing his knowledge within different areas of agriculture, especially agronomics.
