National Oilseed Processors Association (NOPA) members crushed a record large amount of soybeans during October, according to a monthly report released by the group through Reuters News Service on Monday. 

The October NOPA soybean crush totaled 185.245 million bushels, surpassing the previous record of 181.374 bushels set in March of this year. The October crush was up from 161.491 mil. in September and was up 5.6% from 175.397 mil. in October 2019. The crush was near the high end of trade estimates that averaged 177.123 million bushels, according to a Reuters Survey. 

Oct. 31 NOPA member soyoil stocks came in at 1.487 billion pounds, up from 1.433 billion at the end of September and 1.423 billion at the end of October 2019. The oil stocks were slightly above the avg. trade forecast of 1.448 billion pounds.
